African Safari

With an undistinguished performance in Champions Trophy the Indian team is ready to take on South Africa in their home soil. Selection committee has taken some senior players for the tour and fans are expecting a better performance this time around.

Though there are some points if remembered much expectation won’t be there, anymore. These include the legendary and traditional unease of Indian players to play in pace friendly bouncy green pitches, relative inexperience and lack of form of present Indian pace attack, lack of forms of batsmen due to continuous experimentation of team management.

In team selection also a strange addition has taken place in the form of Anil Kumble who is essentially considered as a test player.

With all these factors if the team morale is considered it becomes evident that much positive can’t be expected from this tour.

Thus the hosts may expect an exciting African safari not us.
