Popular singer, Akon, will be coming to India to perform at Shah Rukh Khan’s bash for the IPL 3 season for the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Akon’s performance was the much awaited highlight at the IPL 2 in South Africa at the IPL 2 closing ceremony. However, it was a huge disappointment as Akon was found to be lip syncing and the fans that tuned in were tuned out virtually.
However, Akon may be making amends for it at the start of the 2010 IPL 3 season as he will attend a high profile party thrown by SRK, the co owner of the KKR team in the IPL. He is expected to add sound bytes to the event.
It is apparently a part of the deal for Akon to feature a song of his in Shah Rukh’s forthcoming Bollywood sci-fi movie, “Ra.1″.
