Ashes T1: KP and Johnson Face Off Off the Field
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Jul 12 2009

That the Ashes is proving to be a nerve racking series was only proved further when Kevin Pietersen and Mitchell Johnson sparred at each other before playing hours on day five of the first Ashes Test.
Word has it that KP ignited quite a few fires in Australia’s practice session when he smashed one delivery in the direction of the area where the Australians were practising.
An angered Mitchell Johnson stormed towards the England playing area with his fellow team mates and what could have ensued would have been very ugly before apparently Stuart Clark stopped Johnson from making any further moves that could aggravate the situations.
As it turned out Ben Hilfenhaus dismissed KP very early into the day five’s play at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.
Phew, it’s getting hot in here!
