Australia Relying on Johnson for Battle Versus SA at the SCG
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Jan 22 2009

After two tantalizing battles that levels the five one day international series at 1-1, Australia are hoping Mitchell Johnson’s inclusion will revive their journey at the top.
After being rested for the two one day internationals as well the two Twenty20 matches prior to the third match being staged at the SCG tomorrow, Mitchell Johnson will be making a comeback. Bolstering the attack could be Shaun Tait alongside Nathan Bracken.
Australia are hoping that the three pronged pace attack, Nathan Hauritz yet an unconfirmed player for tomorrow game, will ensure that the visitors’ spirit will be diminished to an extent. It will also mean that Ryan Harris and even Ben Hilfenhaus may not feature in tomorrow’s game in Sydney important for both teams.
South Africa rested Makhaya Ntini for the one game and if they do dare to carry our their rotation policy, perhaps Dale Steyn, who has not been rested all of Australia’s summer thus far, could sit out give Morne Morkel to shine once more alongside his older brother Albie.
With both matches giving crowds their money’s worth, Sydney crowds would want to expect no less with both batting order unlikely to be changed though a few like Hashim Amla will have to pull up their socks in this form of the game rather fast. JP Duminy becomes the man to watch out for, again.
