If Shiv Sena were like a baby relentlessly crying, they got a handful of attention from the BCCI quarters on Sunday.
Union Agriculture Minister and former BCCI President, Sharad Pawar met with the Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray along with the current BCCI president, Shashank Manohar with a view to convincing the Shiv Sena from stopping its protesting and threatning not to allow the Australian cricketers to play in the IPL 3 in India over the racial attacks on Indians in Australia.
In relation to that, Shiv Sena has been targetting cricketers and cricket authorities while also taking up the subject of Pakistan and their cricketers and created a war of words with Shah Rukh Khan, coowner of the Kolkata Knight Riders and Bollywood actor.
However, the Shiv Sena has not issued a change of stance yet even as the BCCI authorities claimed that it was a matter of only a few Australians cricketers, not the Australian team as a whole.
