Brett Lee May Not Make Cut for First Test against the West Indies
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Nov 16 2009

The Australian team may have to go into the first Test against the West Indies without their spearhead, Brett Lee.
Brett Lee has been missing in action since the first ODI of the India Australia ODI series in Vadodara in India as he suffered a sore elbow.
Lee was hoping to prove his fitness through a Sheffield Shield match at the SCG (Sydney Cricket Ground). But his elbow continues to be a bother and now as the selectors sit down to pick the squad for the Tests, Lee can only have his fingers crossed.
It will be a bitter blow for the fast bowler whose heartening performances for the New South Wales (NSW) Blues during the Champions League Twenty20 and the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 in South Africa were expected to see a new innings for Lee.
