Broad, Anderson Opt for Ashes over IPL
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Dec 14 2009

England’s Stuart Broad and James Anderson have decided that the opportunity to have a go at Australia once more was a worthy task for which they could not like to compromise their energies by participating in IPL 3.
Broad and Anderson were perhaps also doubtful, despite being hot picks at the auction, of securing a longer stint in IPL 3 given that most of the teams have more or less settled into a cohesive group.
Integral players of the England team, they have instead chosen to prepare to defend their Ashes victory and are unwilling to expend their energies which is perhaps to the liking of the ECB as well when it expressed reservations about the player’s workload.
