After much wrangling over the dates of the Champions Twenty20 League coinciding with that Champions Trophy, the venues for the Champions Twenty20 League have been announced. Find out to know where the circus arrives soon!
The teams participating in the Champions Twenty20 League between December 3rd and 10th now know where the contest will be conducted. The Rajasthan Royals and the Chennai Super Kings will be joined by South Africa’s Titans and Dolphins, England’s Middlesex, Australia’s Western Australia and Victoria, and one team from Pakistan’s Twenty20 domestic competition for the inaugural event.
Mumbai has once again bagged the rights to host the final. The prize money has visibly scaled higher with reports suggesting that the winner could walk away with five to six times the amount earned by the IPL winners, the Rajasthan Royals. Bangalore and Chennai will play hosts in the league rounds where two groups of four will compete among themselves with the top two from each group making it to the semi final stage.
