CL T20 Final: NSW And Lee Outdo T & T

The Champions League Twenty20 saw a worthy winner. However, there was another team that had stolen the show till that point.
Brett Lee sounded a strong warning to team India ahead of the ODI series in a performance that virtually single handedly destroyed the team that won people’s hearts.
Trinidad and Tobago chose the wrong moment to unravel, the final of the CL T20 to lose the match.
NSW Blues struggled to get runs under their belt, losing wickets and until Steven Smith’s thirty-three runs followed up by a late charge from Lee for forty-eight runs from just thirty-one balls, the Blues looked to have underdone themselves.
But 159 was a decent total and in the past, T & T showed a lot of flair in their run chase. However, Lee was once again instrumental in thwarting T and T by picking up two crucial wickets up front of Lendl Simmons and William Perkins while Steve removed Adrian Barath to leave the West Indies team tottering on three down for twenty-one.
The expected recovery did not come and Kieron Pollard’s twenty-six was not enough to save the day, NSW Blues winning by forty-one runs despite Ravi Rampaul’s haul of three wickets in another inspiring spell.
