Controversy: Yousuf-Pak Captain For Aus Tour, Younis Gives A-Miss, Fast Bowlers Scuffle

The Pakistan officials deny it. But there is a storm brewing in the cricket den as well.
Mohammad Yousuf was named captain of the Pakistan team for the tour of Australia with Younis Khan extending his sabbatical from cricket following the New Zealand ODI series in the UAE. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had no choice but to leave the former captain out after he failed to show up for a domestic tournament as well. There is surely a saga there, and one that more than meets the eye.
But things were too hot even in New Zealand after the second Test in Wellington, which incidentally Pakistan won by a big margin of 141 runs, where apparently the two Pakistan fast bowlers, Umar Gul and the 17 year old Mohammad Aamer got into a fight, for which they were both hauled up and fined to pay handsomely.
If there is truth to the story, it will not be the first time with Shoaib Akhtar returning from South Africa prior to the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 following an incident with Mohammad Asif in which the former is said to have hit the latter with the bat.
