The injury lists keep piling on. Now it is New Zealand’s turn and unfortunately Jacob Oram is out without a match under his belt in South Africa.
Oram missed the first Group B match against South Africa supposedly with a hamstring strain. But now the six feet six inch tall New Zealand all rounder appears to have sustained a more serious injury as he has been ruled out of the ICC Champions Trophy altogether.
New Zealand have named James Franklin, currently in England, as Oram’s replacement, hoping that one all rounder will do the trick where the other has been unable to set foot on the field.
