Delhi Will Not Host India South Africa Test: BCCI
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Dec 28 2009

The BCCI is preempting the ICC’s move by taking New Delhi off the radar for the proposed two Tests against South Africa next year.
Ratnakar Shetty, the 2011 ICC World Cup tournament director, spoke on behalf of the BCCI conveying the news that Ferozeshah Kotla will not be hosting a Test match between India and South Africa on South Africa’s tour to India in early 2010.
Following the Sunday’s fiasco when the pitch at Kotla was declared unfit by ICC match Referee, Alan Hurst, the BCCI is giving the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) a clear indicator of what it turns of the match being abandoned in embarrassing circumstances with the crowds getting into the melee as well.
