As India look to rub salt into the wounds of the hosts, India are not leaving any stone unturned.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, though pleased with India’s near clinical performance in the first one day international against Sri Lanka in Dambulla, has cautioned his team that they would still need to lift their game a notch or two before thinking of a series win.
Virender Sehwag is expected to make a comeback, which means as expected, Rohit Sharma will have to move back to the bench even though he was with the skipper as they tied up loose business at the end of the first one day international.
Other than that, not too many changes are expected of the Indian eleven though Sri Lanka may be tempted to tweak a thing or two, while the skipper Mahela Jayawardene will be really introspecting before he becomes the biggest problem in the team.
Can Muralitharan surpass Wasim Akram’s record of most number of one day internationals wickets of 502? Can Ajantha Mendis recapture some of the magic? Sri Lanka’s fortunes depend heavily on it.
