Shane Watson’s dreams remained just that.
Watson is ruing the fact that he let the anxiety of the fulfillment of a dream get in the way of his achievement. Watson missed his maiden Test century in Adelaide after being ninety-six runs overnight.
Watson is now able to contemplate what led to that downfall and perhaps even for Australia as they trailed the West Indies in the second Test at the Adelaide Oval thereafter.
Watson apparently spent a sleepless night dreaming of the century which unforunately remained just that as Sulieman Benn tore into the Australians, beginning with the wicket of Watson.
