England Believe SA Tour Tougher Than Ashes
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Nov 3 2009

Ambition is not limited to just the top rung. Andrew Strauss embarks on this trip with a dream ambition against a stiff opposition.
The England captain is well aware that this England tour to South Africa will not be easy. If anything, he believes it will be tougher than the Ashes when the England team shocked Australia three months earlier.
With South Africa occupying the top rung in the ICC Test rankings, England will know this will be no easy ride in the park. But by stating that the Ashes created a lot of pressure because of tradition while this series will create the real pressure in terms of cricket credibility.
For South Africa, they touched their peak by beating Australia in Australia, a mental victory as much as physical. But South Africa have to overcome their last defeat, against Australia at home.
But South Africa will not backing down, especially with their pride hurt from the early exit from the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 in front of the home crowds.
