England Suffer Injury Casualties in Broad, Swann Ahead of ODI Against SA
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Nov 19 2009

England will not be fielding their best side for the first ODI against South Africa after Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann were ruled out with injuries.
England had to bring in Kevin Pietersen early during the Twenty20 matches. Now it appears their front line men will be missing in action against the South Africans as they play the first ODI tomorrow.
Broad was already warming the benches after suffering shoulder strain during a warm up match and now the spinner has pulled up with a side strain, and in all likelihood, both the players will miss the first two ODIs, the second of which takes place on Sunday.
