England vs W.Indies first test poised at a very interesting position
Kishore | May 21 2007

The first NPower test being played at the traditional Lord’s Stadium is poised at a very interesting position. England’s most successful batsman Kevin Peiterson

Earlier in the match a few other English players, Alistair Cook (105), Paul Collingwood (111), Ian Bell (109 not out) and Mathew Prior (126 not out) showered runs with the willow. Later on it was all Indian Origin Monty Panesar's day who bagged 6 men for a mere 129 runs. This included the prize scalp of the threatening Shivnarine Chanderpaul. Monty's spell helped England to reduce the Windies to 437 again their 553 for 5.

At the end of the fourth day Windies were 0/0. The last day will be all the more exciting as Windies need 401 to register a win which the English need 10 wickets to do the same.
