Flintoff To Miss Ashes Bus Altogether?
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Jul 1 2009

Andrew Flintoff’s latest transgression has not met with much amusement and it could even threaten his Ashes stint.
Flintoff reported late and subsequently missed the bus to Ypres. He was given a dressing room apparently by the team management who chose to brush off the incident as one of time management on the all rounder’s behalf.
However, the England captain, Andrew Strauss, has stated that Flintoff knows he is pushing the fine line of discipline and also, reportedly told him that he was unafraid of dropping the all rounder altogether if further misdemeanours come to light. Strauss was unwilling to discuss the subject of Flintoff’s drinking in public or alcohol related issues, but perhaps Andrew Symonds’ case will prove a timely reminder.
Meanwhile former England captain, Michael Atherton, described Flintoff’s indiscretion as a needless distraction as England prepare for the Ashes with a game against Warwickshire while Australia take on the England Lions.
