In news that will certainly delight the opposition in terms of one less attacking batsman, Gautam Gambhir will not be playing the third and final Test of Sri Lanka’s tour of India.
Gambhir’s sister is getting married on the 3rd of December forcing him to skip the third Test. Having scored a century in both the Tests, and four consecutive Test centuries on the trot, Gambhir will now give the record a miss for the sake of his sister.
India will have to fill his prolific boots while he shakes his leg at his sister’s wedding.
