Iain O'Brien to Quit After Third Test in Napier - a Pictorial Tribute
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Dec 5 2009

New Zealand bowler Iain O’Brien has announced that he will quit international cricket at the end of the third Test in Napier against Pakistan. Here’s capturing his efforts in pictures.
O’Brien was a late entrant on the scene for New Zealand but that New Zealand have benefitted immensely since adding him to their team strategies, particularly in the Test arena, is quite obvious.
An avid blogger himself, O’Brien has stated that quitting the game and playing for the England county team, Middlesex, would give him the opportunity to lead a more normal, married life since his wife is in England where she works. Citing familial reasons for the decision, O’Brien will leave a void in the New Zealand team, a fact that even the New Zealand captain, Daniel Vettori acknowledges.
Crickblog wishes Iain success in all his future endveaours while presenting a pictorial display of his moments on the field in the national colours.
