The Indian Cricket League has not shut down the shutter entirely. It is now taking on the bigwigs of the game.
The ICL owners are now after the ICC, the ECB and the BCCI over what it claims are unlawful restrictions upon its cricketers and a deliberate attempt to stamp out competition in the form of the ICL.
The ICL was forced into letting go many of its players after they were ostracized by their respective boards and the ICL had to eventually call off its season but with the likes of Kapil Dev and Tony Greig promising that the battle was far from over.
With talks with the BCCI and the ICC failing, the ICL has now taken the legal recourse.
