The ICC has refused to accept Pakistan’s case over its non inclusion in the 2011 World Cup stating that there were several cases of misunderstanding even as Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned over the indignation it is suffering.
The ICC has refuted Pakistan’s allegations that it was removed from the position of co hosts for the 2011 World Cup that also features India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Stating that the matches were moved out of Pakistan only with the intent of providing safety and security to other boards member in view of the March attack on Sri Lankan cricketers outside the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the ICC has stated that Pakistan itself has not been removed as co hosts of the World Cup.
Further more, Pakistan is also questioning the issue of the hosting fee which the ICC entitled it to even though the Champions Trophy has been moved out of Pakistan after deferring it by a year.
