ICC World Twenty20: Ex-ICL Abdur Razzaq Joins Pak Squad

It appears the way has been cleared much earlier than anticipated. The Pakistan Cricket Board has received its desired response. Abdur Razzaq will now play in the ICC World Twenty20 in England.
Yasir Arafat suffered a hamstring injury in the match against England. The PCB promptly sought Razzaq as replacement. The only problem was that while Razzaq cut all ties with the ICL and PCB allowed him back into their fold, the ICC was yet to ratify the move. The PCB sought the ICC’s approval to include Razzaq in the squad. And now the ICC has given its blessing and Razzaq will now join the Pakistan team for the Super Eights.
Perhaps the likes of New Zealand will be very interested given that their players’ injury list has grown significantly with captain Daniel Vettori sitting out with an injured shoulder and Jesse Ryder being admitted in hospital while Ross Taylor continues to nurse a delicate hamstring.
