India had both good and bad news ahead of the second ODI against Sri Lanka at Nagpur.
India will indeed have the services of Virender Sehwag who hobbled off the field in the first ODI in Rajkot. However, Yuvraj Singh continues to elude the Indian team, missing the first ODI with a finger injury and now is set to miss the second ODI with flu, but hopefully it will not be the swine flu/H1N1 virus had laid Sreesanth low.
Meanwhile, India know they were lucky to get out of the first ODI with three runs. But Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one worried man. The Indian captain does not know what has struck the team as they have dropped catches aplenty and their fielding is unable to defend totals because of allowing the opposition to get away, Kumar Sangakkara, the Sri Lankan captain, being the main beneficiary.
That will be the focus of the Indian team as they take on Sri Lanka in tomorrow’s day night match originally scheduled for Vishakapatnam but shifted to Nagpur following the Telangana deadlock.
