India vs. S. Africa III test hangs in balance while Australia zooms in for the kill in Ashes

S. African batsmen would be playing under pressure as the India is in quite potent stage after scoring a total of 414/a.o. in the first innings.

Chasing the bulky target S. Africa kicked-up a great start as G. Smith scored a respectable 94 out of 142 balls but Kumble, very cunningly entrapped him in his spinning attack and set him back to pavilion at an individual score of 94. Carrying the procession forward HM Amla succeeded the captain and played some potent strokes and extracted 63 out of 174. Presently, JH Kallis and AG Prince are looking quite determined and are playing at 42(112) and 22(90) respectively and total score of S. Africa is 257/3.

England is also feeling regressed after scoring a pint-sized total 291/a.o. and fearing a 5-0 whitewash. Chasing the target Aussies gave a quite satisfactory firm start and with help of SK Warne and AC Gilchrist who scored 71(65) and 62(72) respectively, totaled a huge 393/a.o. and filed an intense lead of 102 runs over England.

Playing forward on the day 3rd, England kicked off a poor start and lost its opener pair quickly at the score of 55. After loosing two opening batsmen IR Bell takes-over the parade and after playing some hard shots B. Lee victimized him at an individual score of 28(92). A. Flintoff too failed in front of Warne’s turning attack and surrendered at just 7. Currently At the moment, KP Pietersen (29 out of 92 balls) and MS Panesar are trying to steady the ship of England in Ashes tempest. England at 114/5.
