The BCCI’s emergency meeting on the 2nd of August has apparently do with the Indian cricketers’ growing concerns over WADA’s anti doping law.
The Indian cricketers are not against being tested for banned substances. In fact they appear to have no qualms about the ordeal. What has them up in knots though is the WADA policy that even player must turn in a sheet that specifies where they will be everyday for the next months in case they needed to be tracked down for the test.
With the cricket taking a little break, the cricketers are in a quandary about putting down on paper a destination they may not be at a month down the line and are therefore, tussling about filling a form that the ICC through WADA has made mandatory.
Now the ICC is planning to set up a meeting with BCCI and resolve the issue.
