The IPL governing council proposes to do away with the icons altogether which means that the cricketers such as Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag will no longer remain exclusive to their respective franchisees.
While these icon cricketers will not be traded for another year as they have a three year contract, IPL 4 should shake up a few things.
