Kapil Dev Asks - Why is BCCI Not Accountable?
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Oct 27 2009

Kapil Dev has lashed out at the BCCI for their callous moves to right the wrongs.
While the legendary Indian all rounder was scathing of the BCCI’s policy to go with foreign coaches as opposed to using home grown talent, he was critical of BCCI’s discriminatory policy to fire without intimation Robin Singh, the fielding coach, and Venkatesh Prasad, the bowling coach.
Praising their efforts, Kapil felt that this kind of ad hoc hiring and firing was doing more harm to Indian cricket and he felt the BCCI should also take responsibility in the team’s debacles as also the team management that also includes Gary Kirsten, the Indian coach.
He was also critical towards the media who he felt was reporting is biased fashion and did not support the Indian Cricket League as much as they should have in questioning the BCCI’s monopolistic authority on cricket in India.
