Indian coach, Gary Kirsten, is embarrassed at being caught in the midst of a ’sex’ controversy involving the Indian cricket team. He has denied any hand in preparing the sex mantra.
Kirsten had denied any hand in the preparation of the dossier advocating sex for the Indian cricketers. Stating that the report had originally emanated from the mental conditioning coach, Paddy Upton, but that it was only circulated amongst the players and not advocated.
Stating that it was not something he would advocate, Kirsten stated in his statement in the press conference, “My family and I have been deeply offended and hurt by the many allegations that I encouraged the Indian players to engage in sexual activity before a match. I would like to state that I have never, and I repeat, never encouraged or told the team or any player to engage in any form of sexual activity. These allegations are absolutely not true and completely against my religious and moral beliefs.”
The Indian cricketers have been dodging the issue since the news broke a couple of days back during the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa.
