Lee, Zaheer Khan In Verbal Scuffle Ahead Of India-Aus Series

Zaheer Khan has responded to Brett Lee’s supposed comments about the forthcoming India Australia ODI series with unkind words.
The mind games have already begun with Australia’s rejuvenated spearhead, Brett Lee, apparently stating that on the back of the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 success in South Africa, Australia could trample India 7-0.
Zaheer Khan is still preparing to return to the Indian team recovering from a shoulder injury but he did not take a step backwards to defend his Indian team when under attack by an Australian.
Zaheer is presently not in the squad but has sounded a warning to Australia that their typical attempts at warring words would not work against team India. Stating that Australians usually resorted to such tactics, Zaheer has bluntly asked Australia to take care of their own house instead of trying to unsettle the Indian team.

Brett Lee is currently in India leading the attack for the New South Wales Blues in the Champions League Twenty20 Super Eights.
Australia won the NatWest series 6-1 before the South African adventure whereas India won the Compaq Cup in Sri Lanka before crashing out of the ICC Champions Trophy, their match against Australia yielding no result due to rain.
