These are not technically ICC initiated features. But they boast of some of the best in the world. Two insatiable contests; two star studded events and one wonders how the fans are viewing the jam packed season!
While the Champions League Twenty20 advertisements have been doing the rounds on television, there has also been a lot of activity and buzz back stage. With players such as Mike Hussey and Albie Morkel having to pick loyalties, the IPL has already shown desperation for Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
On the other hand, the ICL, after a drama packed best of three finals over the last weekend, has announced the team compositions for the ICL World Series which promises to be one scintillating contest.

While the Lahore Badshahs becomes team Pakistani with the added addition of the Hyderabad Heroes star Abdul Razzaq, the World Series has an added impetus of the Dhaka Warriors (who now transform into ICL Bangladesh) who have done reasonably well in only their first outing to stand even an outside chance of making it to the finals.
The ICL India team which won the inaugural contest of the World Series will once again stake their claim to the prestigious title. Both not if the World team decides to throw themselves into the seemingly predominant Asian battle. Another lip smacking action awaits.
The ICL has announced a prize money corpus of Rs. 2.74 wherein the winners will get Rs.1.25 crore, while the runner-up walks away with Rs. 75 lakh.
