Michael Clarke Will be in a Race to Get Fit for West Indies Series
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Nov 5 2009

It has been one tough ride for Michael Clarke since that flight from England following the Ashes. He may not even win the battle to register himself fit when the West Indies’ tour of Australia starts.
The Australian vice captain has been missing in action since the ODI series against England. Pulling up with a sore back ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 in South Africa, Clarke has had to miss the India Australia seven match ODI series.
But it now appears that while Peter Siddle is expected to be fit when the first Test starts, Clarke’s back pain is causing quite a bit of uncertainty because he does not appear to be getting over it. Hence, the only time people have been able to talk about Clarke when he featured in an ad for a drink with his model-fiancee, Lara Bingle, with many even likening them to the football star and his ‘Spice Girls’ wife, David Beckham and Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham .
