Mitchell Johnson's Time is Up according to Australia
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Jul 28 2009

The transformation has come full circle. Not six months ago, Mitchell Johnson was hailed as Australia’s answers to the spearhead problems aggravated by Brett Lee’s domestic turmoil and injuries. However, now the same Australian lot that got behind Johnson want him out.
The Australian media and public do not want to risk another Test at the hands of the wayward and distracted Mitchell and want him out of the third Test at Edgbaston starting in two days time.
Instead the call has been for Stuart Clark to be included in the team at Johnson’s expense. They feel Peter Siddle is doing a good enough job along Ben Hilfenhaus who is climbing the ranks as Johnson’s credibility as the strike bowler and wicket taker is taking a serious beating, especially since the second Test of the Ashes at Lord’s.

While every one has fielded excuses for Johnson’s possible slip including the breakdown of his relationship with his mother, Vikki Harber, since getting engaged to Jessica Bratich, only Johnson himself can undo and find his rhythm as Ricky Ponting awaits a tricky decision.
