Yousuf Pathan’s ambush on the BCCI could cost him as well. However, Krishnamachari Srikkanth has vowed himself to silence over allegations of leaving Irfan Pathan out on non cricket grounds and from those stating that the south is gaining greater chances.
With the IPL mega signings, there should have exhibitionism a la Zlatan Ibrahomovic for Barcelona, celebrating his move from Inter Milan. But instead, there are allegations flying fast and thick and when one expects the BCCI to make an uproar to shut mouths, it appears they are taking a silent stand.
The chairman of selectors, Srikkanth, has chosen not to comment to Yousuf’s allegations and instead has decided to stay mum. Earlier the BCCI through Rajiv Shukla stated emphatically that Vinod Kambli was not subjected to a discrimination policy and that Sourav Ganguly was not forced into retirement.
But even as this latest allegation looks to rock the BCCI fiefdom, there are dangerous accusations being made that under Srikkanth, cricketers from south India are faring better in terms of opportunities.
