NKP Salve Challenger Series: Dhoni's India Blues Suffer Blues Because of Red
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Oct 11 2009

The NKP Salve Challenger Series final saw an insipid match in which Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s India Blue suffered at the hands of the India Red bowlers.
Munaf Patel brought himself back into contention with a match winning performance of a four wicket burst in eight overs to decimate the India Blue team.
Sudeep Tyagi though brought about the downfall in the early stages of the match, taking the first three wickets of the match including that of Harbhajan Singh who was batting at number four for India Blue. Tyagi’s three wickets were followed by Munaf in extraordinary fashion in Nagpur with Dhoni top scoring on twenty-three runs as India Blue were bowled out for eighty-four in just twenty-seven overs.
The India Red team led by Subramaniam Badrinath then followed up their bowling with opener Shikar Dhawan scoring thirty-eight runs in the twenty overs that the Red team used to chase down India Blue’s target despite Harbhajan Singh’s three wicket spell.
