No Ntini, but Botha for South Africa's Tour of India
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Jan 20 2010

South Africa have wasted no time following their squaring the series against England by announcing the squad for the tour of India.
South Africa have caused a few surprises and some not surprising decisions with regard to their squad for the rather important tour.
Interestingly Makhaya Ntini does not find a place on the squads for the Test and ODI squad while Johan Botha makes a return to the team. Loots Bosman continues on the road to establishing himself for the team for the 2011 World Cup while Wayne Parnell makes his first trip to India as does Ryan McLaren in the Test team. Herschelle Gibbs finds himself back in the ODI squad after failing to impress in the series against South Africa.
The stronghold will see be the South African captain, Graeme Smith, and Jacques Kallis. But Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel are teaming up rather well with the new ball while Botha will give the team a spinning option apart from Paul Harris in the Tests and Roelof van der Merwe in the ODIs.

South Africa’s ODI squad for India:
Graeme Smith (captain), Loots Bosman, Johan Botha, Mark Boucher (wicket keeper), AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Herschelle Gibbs, Jacques Kallis, Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Alviro Petersen, Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Roelof van der Merwe

South Africa’s Test squad for India:
Graeme Smith (capt), Hashim Amla, Johan Botha, Mark Boucher (wk), AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Paul Harris, Jacques Kallis, Ryan McLaren, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Alviro Petersen, Ashwell Prince, Dale Steyn and Lonwabo Tsotsobe
