Oh ,no, not again, must be the reaction of the Cricket Australia and the Team Management when they must have heard the latest salvo by their so talented player Andrew Symonds, the irrepressible batsman who besides scoring runs scores in verbal abuses also.
It was the famous Monkeygate which involved both Harbhajan and Symonds, before that Andrew had came drunk for the one day international in 2005. Symonds also went off fishing instead of attending team meeting in Darwin.
He had to cool his feet off the field for this misdemeanour and was very thankful to be included in the team for the New Zealand tour. He also had knee injury and was able to return only on Saturday for grade cricket.
But it seems that Symonds and controversies walk hand in hand because in a radio show on Triple M on a light hearted Roy and HG programme Symonds called the Black Caps wicket Keeper Brendon McCullum a lump of S**t because he was signed by the New South Wales at the expense of a local player for their Tweny20 final against Victoria.
He was so angry at the New South Wales choice that he called Brendon a lump of S**t and than changed it to lump of cow dirt perhaps under some misapprehension that calling Brendon cow dirt is better than calling him S**t. H also accused New South Wales for trying to use Brendon because he was a New Zealander, telling the radio jockey that they would have chosen McCullum even if he was Irish.
Perhaps Symonds had a misplaced trust in the CA that he believes he would also be let off easily after Hayden got away calling Bhajji an obnoxious little weed.By the way he did not even spare Hayden’s wife saying that if Hayden was not a good cook he would take a side glance at Mrs. Hayden so as to make the meal go down well.
Cricket Australia spokesman Peter Young had no comments on the latest indiscretion by their talented yet loose talking all rounder.
