Pak Court Has Orders for Govt; Pak May Not Send Teams for IPL 4, CL T20; Afridi Calms Heat

There are plenty of repercussions to the Pakistan cricketers being left out in the IPL 3 auctions.
On a day when breaking news is about Hollywood stars, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s possible split, it failed to hit Indian news services because a bigger storm is brewing and has been for sometime now.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is moving towards denying Pakistan, any of its cricketers or teams to participate in the IPL 4 season in 2011 and the Champions League Twenty20 at the end of the year.
While Shahid Afridi is in a mood to forgive and forget, not everyone is seeing things through similar viewpoints. It may meant that South Australian Redbacks, who signed on Shahid Afridi, may not get to show off their prized possession when they enter the CL T20 competition later in the year despite being beaten by the Victoria Bushrangers in the Big Bash Twenty20 finals.
Meanwhile, a petition has been filed in the Pakistan court demanding the Pakistan government respond to why Indian films were being aired across Pakistan when so much humiliation has been heaped upon their cricketers.
The PCB chief and the sports ministry have slammed the move as a way for India to keep Pakistan from defending their Twenty20 title at the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 in the Caribbean. While Pakistan will play India in international events, they appear adamant on their stand for the Twenty20 tournaments.
