While only hours earlier it was reported that Pakistan had settled for a financial deal in lieu of hosting the 2011 World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board once again comes out saying that Pakistan could still host the World Cup.
There seems no end to this drama. Even as ICC promised to give the PCB a lion’s share of the compensation, the PCB is sounding the old horn by stating that as the security improves, Pakistan is still hopeful that it would host a few of its games.
Wonder what it will take for Pakistan to get the message? And how long will ICC hold out and continue to battle this ping pong match?
