PCB Trying for Maximum Payout over 2011 World Cup
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Jul 29 2009

The Pakistan Cricket Board is not likely to take the ICC to court over the 2011 World Cup hosting rights. Instead they may just seek a handsome compensation to wipe their tears.
Pakistan are already due to receive the 10.5 million dollars for the fourteen ODI matches of the World Cup that they will no longer be hosting. However, that is not where Pakistan want the compensation to stop. The apparent meeting between the ICC President, David Morgan, and PCB Chairman, Ejaz Butt, is to seek a suitable compensation amount that would appease the Pakistan board as well some form of guarantee that Pakistan will be on the map for the FTP (Future Tours Programme).
