Shaun Pollock is speaking a different language from Shane Warne and with good reason too.
The former South African fast bowler who has since associated himself with the Mumbai Indians team in the IPL wants the ODIs to stay.
According to Pollock, Twenty20 is a captivating version of cricket but it leaves little room for technical improvisations and rarely can the team find its feet after it loses ground early in a Twenty20 match.
The ODIs, in contrast, allow room for strategizing and team give more thought to skills as there is plenty of time to change and adapt one’s game.
Hard to argue with reasons like that!
