The Australian Captain is very angry, obviously after getting defeated by India and losing the Border-Gavaskar trophy.
He has to face flak from every side,The former Australian Captains Border and Chappell are no less outspoken than him. They have blamed Ponting of putting his interests monetary of course first than the team interest. His decision to speed up the team’s slow over rate instead of ruthlessly chasing a series levelling victory in Nagpur brought out all these allegations.
Obviously Ponting can criticise but cannot hear any criticism. As per him, even the very thought of putting himself before the team is absurd as anyone who knew him well would know.
And in a very childish retaliation has said he has not spoken to and would not be talking to Border and Chappell.
As usual there has been been a denial from Border. He absolutely and categorically denied that he had said these things about Ponting. He was only talking about the tactics chosen and in his view they were not right. He blamed the media for the whole mess.
That is right ,say everything and than blame the media for misquoting. Are these right tactics?
