Rajasthan Royals Lose the the Clash of the Titans

In a match that see sawed between half strength teams, the Rajasthan Royals lost their match to the Cape Cobras.
The Rajasthan Royals clearly did not have the same team that won the IPL last year. Amongst those missing were notably Sohail Tanvir, Shane Watson and Graeme Smith. But that case appeared similar with the Cobras who were without their national stars in a team led by Justin Ontong.
For the Rajasthan Royals, it was Amit Singh who provided the impetus taking three wickets in a match that looked like it was there for the Royals for the taking. But the Cobras recovered from a perilous four down for just thirty-four runs before the defiance came into the form of Richard Levi (for 36 runs), Vernon Philander (twenty-six) and Rory Kleinveldt who made twenty-three.
The Cobras managed to post an enticing target of 142 but the Royals fell for pretty much the same way that the Cobras did. Kleinveldt stood out for his four wickets. Despite Robert Quiney’s thirty-four and Warne’s twenty-one, the Royals gave away one too many wickets, making life hard on themselves and eventually bowing out for 114.
Kleinveldt eventually walked with the man of the match and while his prize, a car, was something he could not drive, he decided to sell it and divide the cash with his team mates!
