Sachin Tendulkar clearly prefers India while Lalit Modi clearly prefers more than one IPL.
Sachin Tendulkar has stated publicly that he still prefers the IPL being hosted in India because the crowds are actually more fanatic about the game and the players. He still states that the IPL in India was better than the IPL 2 in South Africa.
Sachin, who is not playing the ICC World Twenty20 in England, is hoping that the IPL remains in India where the thrill of playing in front of home crowds is completely different in his opinion.
In the meantime, Lalit Modi, the IPL Chairman and Commissioner, is eager to take the game places. He denies that Twenty20 will end up overcooking the game itself, stating that the expectation was to draw more people to the game.
