Steve Harmison Joins Retirement Brigade?

England’s 2005 hero could be calling it quits at the end of the Ashes series of 2009, say reports.
Steve Harmison was an outstanding fast bowler under England captain Michael Vaughan in the Ashes of 2005. However, since then, his career has also seen lows. Now it appears that the ECB is finding it hard to secure Harmison a place in the team despite performing well for Durham. Once again he has been included in the 13 man squad for the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston. However, it appears Ian Bell will come in for Kevin Pietersen, making it perhaps the only change in the team.
This is fuelling rumours that post Ashes, Harmison will announce his retirement, which will make him the third England cricketer after Michael Vaughan and Andrew Flintoff.
