Tendulkar: "Stop Talking About My Age"

Sachin Tendulkar may have scored his fifth Test double century in the second Test of India’s tour of Sri Lanka. But he feels he is good for more and that people should give it a rest when comparing players by their ages.
At thirty-seven, Tendulkar sees no reason why he should not be performing like he is at the peak of his career, “”I think as long as you are mentally strong and prepared to go through the grind, age does not really matter. I think everyone should just stop talking about the age factor. If I can score a double hundred at 37, I don’t think age really matters.”
In Tendulkar’s case, he can back it up with numbers because he has just raced so far ahead in the competition that Australia’s Ricky Ponting, who may have entertained thoughts of catching up with him, will really change gears if that were to happen.
