Sri Lankan fast bowler, Chaminda Vaas, has two grievances. And both his grievances have to do with the selectors.
Vaas was left out of the first Test against Pakistan at Galle. To make matters worse, he was sent to the retirement shed by chief selector Asantha de Mel. The former Sri Lankan fast bowler had claimed that the thirty-five year old fast bowler had conveyed to the chief selector that he no longer wanted to play Test cricket for Sri Lanka but continued to remain available for Sri Lanka for the ODIs and the Twenty20 matches.
However, Vaas has refuted the retirement claims stated that he had not spoken to any one on the subject and he had made no such decisions to that effect.
