Vettori's Injury Not Serious, Expected to Play Test Series against Pakistan
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Nov 13 2009

The New Zealand captain was alarmingly absent from the Twenty team for New Zealand against Pakistan. But he is expected to take his place in the Test series at home against Pakistan.
But Daniel Vettori will be back for the Test series against Pakistan at home despite missing out on the Twenty20 matches in Dubai.
Vettori suffered a blow on the head during the second ODI when facing up to a Mohammed Aaamer delivery. Despite the injury, Vettori continued to play as New Zealand successfully lifted the Cool and Cool series trophy by a 2-1 margin.
Having suffered a concussion, the team management did not want to take any chances. While medical reports have ruled out any major injury, Vettori is not taking any chances, even though New Zealand have suffered a major depletion in the matter of injuries and will struggle to fend of Shahid Afridi’s Pakistan.
