The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that Waqar Younis will be Pakistan’s bowling and fielding coach for Pakistan’s tour of Australia.
The PCB confirmed that Waqar is willing to take on the role of the bowling and fielding coach. It comes as little surprise as there were murmurings about Intikhab Alam being given the boot as Pakistan’s coach with a view to appointing a younger man. This move then to appoint the former Pakistan captain in this role could mean trying out a few things.
