Warne calls KP’s Coach Call a Bluff!

Shane Warne has dismissed reports in the Australian media that Kevin Pietersen had formally approached Warne on the coaching subject while planning his move to get ride of Moores.
The exit of Peter Moores has created a vacant spot in England’s coaching position. But if Pietersen was still at the helm, certain sections of the Australian media have reported that the now former England skipper had planning to roping in an entourage that consisted of Shane Warne, his Victoria mate Darren Berry and sports psychologist Jeremy Snape to do the honours of occupying the back staff of the England cricket team.
However, Warne dismissed the story saying it was a comment made by KP in jest and not to be taken seriously. Warne also stated that his touring days were over which is why he stopped playing the game in the first place. However, he held out that while a job like coaching the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL appealed to him because it was just for two months in the year, should a really lucrative offer come along, he would perhaps be tempted to consider the offer.
Warne thought put forth another name into the coaches’ ring not that the ECB will be adding it to their list in the immediate future. Warne suggested that his former Australian team mate Darren Lehmann would fit in perfectly as it would give England “an outside perspective” while also, using Lehmann’s understanding of the game and his own experiences in England’s country cricket to enhance England cricket.
